New Tom Ford Frames

Yesterday I went to pick up my beautiful new pair of glasses at Optical Trends 4 U in Streetsville, Mississauga. After keeping my eye on the Oliver Peoples NDG frames for literally 2 years, I really was not ready to consider another frame, but after trying on this pair of Tom Ford frames I fell in love. I had already tried on the NDG frames in tortoise shell and they were chic, but the Tom Fords had that something special about them.
These frames are perfect; the classy detailing and subtle tortoise shell enamel is a perfect combination. I also love how the gold hardware isn't too yellow based but more white based, which means you can wear the frames with any other jewelry without looking tacky.
As for comfort these frames are absolutely great, they are super light weight and, if adjusted properly, you can barely feel them on your ears at all.
Finally the customer service at this location is amazing. They offer free fitting, adjustments and aftercare products. The product knowledge was great and the owner is able to answer any of your curiosities about frames, designers and their origin.

Incognito and Sienna Dior Vernis Review

Recently I've purchased 2 new Dior Vernis polishes. Sephora was holding a 15% off event, so I figured now was the best time to purchase an outrageously expensive product. Because Sephora only holds these events twice a year and the Canadian prices are extremely inflated I figured why not get two. Anyways, I purchased two very similar colours : Incognito (257) and Sienna (428).

I obviously love the colour of these two lacquers and they are perfect for everyday wear, but worth the $25? I am not quite sure yet. The brush on the dior polishes are great and they fit my nail perfectly to provide a nice even overall coat. Another pro about these polishes is that you don't really have to do a second coat for the true colour. One problem I find with this polish though, is that even with a top coat, it wears very easily off the tips of your nails over a time span of a day.

Anyways overall I do like these polishes and I do plan on keeping them, although I don't know if I would be ready to repurchase the Dior brand again when they are all used up.
